David has operated Mann Financial Assurance from Winnipeg since 1987. David has earned the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (CH.F.C.) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) as recognized by the Canadian Institute, American College and the Financial Planners Standards Council of Canada respectively. A member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Life Underwriters and Chartered Financial Consultants, he has advanced knowledge as a financial advisor in the areas of life and health insurance, employee benefit plans, wealth accumulation and retirement planning.
David is a member of Advocis and the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting (CALU). He is also a past president of the Estate Planning Council of Winnipeg, past president of the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra and a former chair of the Canadian Great-West Life Agents Advisory Council.
Carolyn is a graduate of the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba with majors in Finance and International Business, and attended Le Groupe Supérieure de Commerce Montpellier, France as part of an International Exchange Program. Her academic accomplishments include being the recipient of the Edwin Cohen Scholarship in Finance leading her class with the highest average in the related business finance courses over four consecutive years. Carolyn also achieved membership in the International Business Honor Society, Beta Gamma Sigma, and graduated with distinction. Carolyn has earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP) as recognized by the Financial Planners Standards Council of Canada. In 2010, she joined the Board of Winnipeg’s Contemporary Dancers.
Debbi is an Advisor Associate and has been associated with Mann Financial Assurance since 1996. She is a graduate of St. Mary's Academy and Red River College with a Diploma in Child Care Services. Debbi has also completed The Canadian Investment Funds Operations Course and The Information Office Management Professional Course from Midwestern School of Business & Technology.
Jennifer has been associated with Mann Financial Assurance since 2005. She is a graduate of Glenlawn Collegiate and Herzing College where she received a Diploma with Honours in the Administrative Assistant course. Jennifer has also completed The Canadian Investment Funds Course and also contributed to the curriculum development of the financial assistance program at Red River College of Applied Arts, Science and Technology.

Tricia graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Commerce, Honours degree in 1984, and became a Chartered Accountant in 1987. Tricia joined Deloitte & Touche in 1984, and worked in the audit group for three years and then in the tax group for eight years, specializing in personal financial planning and estate planning. Tricia joined Great-West Life in January of 1996 as the Advanced Sales Manager for Retirement and Investment Services products.
Since 1998, Tricia has been a Tax & Estate Planning Consultant with Private Wealth & Estate Services and is available to London Life and Great-West Life financial security advisors to assist with complex wealth and estate planning issues. This includes identifying and evaluating shareholder buy/sell arrangements and the appropriate funding for them, business succession strategies for owner-managed businesses, wealth planning and estate planning for high-net-worth individuals and successful business owners.
Chris Koltek, MBA, CIM

Chris Koltek is a wealth management and investment professional with over 12 years’ experience in the industry. He is associated with Mann Financial.
As a Private Wealth Counsellor, Chris supports financial advisors by developing customized investment plans for high-net-worth families. Working with the Private Wealth & Estate Services team, Chris supports a comprehensive investment review process specializing in diversified, tax-effective investment strategies.
Previously, Chris worked in investment product management at an independent national brokerage firm focusing on high-net-worth clients. He also worked in product development, focusing on mutual funds and pooled products, at a major financial services company. Chris has a Masters of Business Administration from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manitoba. He has earned the Canadian Investment Manager designation by completing courses in portfolio management techniques, investment management and the Canadian Securities Course.
Kelly Melchor

Regional Manager, Living Benefits, Great-West Life
Kelly began her career with Great-West Life in 2001 after graduating with a Commerce degree in Finance and Marketing from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba. She worked for four years as a specialist and account manager for the small group insurance division named Selectpac. At the same time, Kelly was the owner and director of a local dance company. In 2005, Kelly worked in the Mayan Riviera, Mexico for a large vacation resort complex. Returning to Winnipeg in 2006, she assumed the role of account manager for CUMIS Insurance. Most recently, she returned to Great-West Life to lead the Living Benefits sales team for the Manitoba, Saskatchewan and northwestern Ontario region. Kelly and her team are responsible for the sales and marketing of Great-West Life’s disability and critical illness insurance products.
